I am trying to raise money to go on a charity expedition to Ghana this Summer (2015). If I get to go I shall be able to help out in many charity projects, which in the past have been organised by Sabre Trust (www.sabretrust.org). As well as spending some of our days working at an orphanage.
Unfortunately in order to take part in this there are many costs that I have to fund myself; airfare; food; accommodation; ground transport; and pre-trip vaccinations. All of these add up to a very high total, which I myself won't be able to reach.
This trip is being planned in unison with Wilderness Expertise (http://www.wilderness-expertise.co.uk/) school and will follow a program that they shall establish. If I got to go, I would also be working closely with local Ghanaian charities. This whole experience would last two weeks, and I believe it to be a once in a life time opportunity.
So far I do not know all the details, however once they come to light I shall continue to update, so there is a clearer idea of the work I am really hoping to get to take part in.
I understand that the amount I want to gain is very unfeasible, but that is the highest total amount, I'm going to be trying to make my own money from various fundraising activities as well. However I am hoping that this shall at least make a small dent in what I'm hoping to achieve.
