Volunteer teaching in Poland
Organized by: Christine Maslanka
English can be a passport out of poverty for many young people throughout the world, especially in this time of increasing globalization. English is the international language of commerce, technology and opportunity. Knowing it can help open doors for higher education, lead to a better job, and provide for a brighter future. This summer, I will be teaching conversational English to Polish students in Zakopane, Poland. Most of these students have studied English grammar, but few have had the opportunity to practice speaking with actual English natives. These students will be spending their summer vacation trying to better their lives. Anything you could do to help would be appreciated. I have been accepted to volunteer this year but in order to volunteer I have to provide your my transportation and pay for housing. . .
