BENEFITING: WAGGYTAIL RESCUE INC
Jackson is one of the sweetest, most loving, devoted little pups we have ever met. He was sentenced to a worse fate than his owner when his owner went to jail.
This tiny, sweet dog was stuck in a cage in the pound. While there, he was barely able to eat due to a painful condition on his muzzle and stress. He got really sick, pneumonia with complications, but the vets released him as a "healthy" dog to Waggytail. Luckily he went to a foster mom who noticed he was really sick!
He has been fighting for his life in the hospital and is expected to make it, but only after about 2 weeks in the hospital. As you can imagine, the vet bills are adding up quickly. Jackson is on the road to recovery but we ask you to help Waggytail with the costs so Waggytail can continue to do good for other pups in need!
*********We also want to raise awareness - if an animal ends up in the city shelter because an owner is unexpectedly hospitalized, evicted, imprisoned, etc without a backup, the pet MUST spend 10 days minimum in the shelter as per law before releases for rescue or adoption. Please always have an emergency contact for your pet! It could save his or her life!!!********
