Join us for the 7th Annual Walk in Their Shoes (formerly the Winter Walk). This event is a three-mile walk or run along the American Tobacco Trail beginning and ending at Solite Park. Solite Park has a covered picnic area so the event will occur RAIN or SHINE! Hoping for SHINE!
Once again we have the Will & Pops food truck. Delicious burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches for purchase, and proceeds benefit Open Table Ministry. Enjoy a tasty snack after the walk.
We encourage Participants to set a pledge goal of $100. A walker package that includes an instruction sheet, pledge form, and a flyer to help you promote the event will be sent via email upon registration. Walk in Their Shoes is a fantastic opportunity to Walk for a Cause!
Here's how it works: pre-register at the link below, begin collecting pledges/donations for your walk via the paper form we will email to you or through CrowdRise.com, come to Solite Park on November 19, check-in/submit your pledge amounts, walk as you see fit, and then enjoy some food, coffee, tea, music, and conversation! Registration opens at 9:00am and the walk begins at 10:00.
