I used to be a teacher at an inner-city High School in San Francisco (http://leadershiphigh.org/). I learned a lot about education, personal patience/discipline, and building a diverse network. Most importantly, I discovered just how important it is to support young people. When you're there every day in the trenches, it's abundantly clear they deserve the best shot at succeeding -- and that we won't survive without their success. Here's your chance to help out! My parents are big hikers and have semi-seriously been threatening to walk from Davis to San Francisco of late. Awhile back I decided I wanted to walk the perimeter of San Francisco instead as it's a bit safer and obviously quite a bit more beautiful. My Mom decided to get it kicked into gear so along with my wife Natalie and a few others, we'll walk the roughly 33 miles around SF. Please donate 5 bucks, 10 bucks, $1M, a dime....whatever you feel comfortable giving. All proceeds go to Girls Leading Girls (https://www.girlsleadinggirls.org/), a non-profit here in SF that teaches young women leadership skills through the beautiful game.
