I can't help but thank all of you again for the support, prayers and donations I received for the recent Hope Water Project 5K. My goal was to  See more
Marion Smith

THE STORY:

The exhilaration of walking on behalf of the Pokot Tribe is indescribable and something a person never forgets. Two years ago, I did the HWP Half Marathon, achieved my goal and experienced a deep sense of love for the Pokot raising money for clean water wells so the Pokots can live instead of die. I thought about them the entire time I was training, racing, and even when I suffered a severe herniated disk injury that set me back for almost a year. However, God was with me all the way, helping me train, helping me race, helping me finish and helping me endure. Now...two years later...here I am, 99% recovered, participating in the 5K to try again...for Him.
