Every summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day, AccountingDepartment.com employees sign up to challenge themselves by conquering health and fitness goals. With a different destination each year, ADC employees set goals to walk, run, bike or swim along a "virtual course" through a chosen destination. This summer, we are taking a virtual trip around Cape Cod, choosing to walk, run, swim, bike 100, 200, 300 miles towards our goal. As an added incentive, this year we are raising money for a charity of our choice as part of our walk and would greatly appreciate your help! I have chosen to raise money for Project Paws Alive to help provide police K-9s with bulletproof, stab proof vests. We have made this a family endeavor, as my 15 yr old daughter, who has both a father and uncle in law enforcement, and has future plans to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, has also chosen this cause for a youth leadership program service project. Our hope is to provide enough funds to outfit at least one police K-9 with the protection they so desperately need. If you would like more information, please see their website at http://projectpawsalive.org/. Thanks in advance for your support!
