I am the Founder/President of the Walk of Hope Foundation Inc (WOHF) which benefits individuals with disability challenges in the Florida/Georgia area. Our organization is an approved 501c3 public non profit group established since November 2011. The primary focus is to assist individuals with spinal cord injuries. WOHF's mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals experiencing health or medical challenges with paralysis. Also, we provide the best resources to a healthy, productive, and safe lifestyle. We will help support public or private organizations, scientist, and clinical trials on all research aimed to curing spinal cord injury related paralysis.
I've organized many fundraising events for our organization but now I'm taking it to New Heights. Our recipients are working hard each day on overcoming their own challenges with paralysis which inspired me to challenge myself on overcoming my fear of heights by rappelling down a tall building. This challenge doesn't compare to the challenges our recipients endure each day. The $35K from this campaign will help organize my challenge to become an annual fundraiser event with many participants which we are needing half the goal amount by October 31, 2013. Also, funds beyond the goal amount will support our organizations efforts to continue assisting recipients towards overcoming paralysis one step at a time through additional physical therapy, equipment, involvement with the adaptive sports programs, mentorships, and research.
Anyone can participate on joining my challenge by raising a minimum of $1000 to rappel. Safety training, equipment, and lots of fun will be provided. Contact me for more information: 904.226.4376 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org

If you're approached with a challenge....Don't say "CAN'T" cause you "CAN"...there are those that truly "CAN'T" but still prove they "CAN"...you can overcome any challenges by starting with a positive attitude on "YES I CAN"!
