"Walsh's Warriors" (n.): Group of individuals who gather to run/walk in honor of Pat.
History: Lou Walsh was an incredible father and athlete who proudly served for 20-years in the USAF. His motto was that anyone could do anything they put their mind to. Later in his life, he faced a myriad of health issues and challenges. Tanya Walsh was the eldest and she too had a motto: Anything for 1 (be that a belt in Taekwon Do, miles in a run, etc.). She faced a multitude of health issues as well earning her angel wings in 2011. And then there's me... twice repaired congenital heart defect survivor, chronic migraine suffered, two aortic aneurysms, and survivor of a stroke. My motto: Don't tell me I can't do something because I'll prove you wrong.
Nothing compares to the ultimate sacrifice Pat made in 2004. We honor his legacy.
