Walter needs Heartworm Treatment
Organized by: Natalie Voss
A nice pastor in Pearland found Walter sleeping next to her car last Friday. She took the skinny pup with no collar to the vet to have him scanned for a microchip--he didn't have one. She paid for his shots, his flea preventative, a checkup, and a heartworm test, which unfortunately, was positive. She took him/ to the church where she works where he was well behaved, and didn't jump or bark.
He is about 2 years old, 14 lbs, and probably a terrier mix. The vet thinks he is kennel trained. He is very sweet. He is underweight and also needs to be neutered when he's healthy enough.
I will be fostering Walter until he goes to Colorado, and I will post updates and pics as soon as I have him. Please donate to help Walter get the heartworm treatment he needs so that RPM can take him to Colorado where his forever family surely waits.
