Right now, the Laurel homeless population does not have the means to stay warm throughout the winter. If nothing changes there will be numbers of this population suffering by getting sick (or worse) this winter. Through this project's purchase and distribution of 100 empowerment coats (see video) by February 2018, what's available for this entire population is a warm winter in 2018 and beyond!
We're calling out to leaders and residents in the greater Laurel community to take on this new possibility collectively and powerfully. Together, we are creating the possibility of warmth, love and connection in our greater Laurel community. 😊
