I am a warrior who has fought an invisible battle! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2015 through a routine mammogram. Although the tumor was small and able to be removed, cancer cells had already spread to my lymph nodes. I began 8 rounds of chemotherapy in September, followed by 35 sessions of radiation in January, completing treatment on March 10, 2016. This has been one of the most difficult journeys in my life. I am thankful for the wonderful doctors, nurses, friends and family members who have supported me through this awful time. I had my first post-treatment mammogram on April 1, 2016 and I am cancer free! I am a warrior!
