The Department of Veterans Affairs is mandated by US Congress to host Welcome Home Celebration Events for returning Iraq and Afghanistan (OIF/OEF/OND) veterans and military personnel. Due to government restrictions, the Department of Veterans prohibits certain types of outreach, recruitment, and fundraising that limits the capacity of the Welcome Home events. In 2009, the VA's FREE Chicago Welcome Home Celebration had approximately 400 attendees. In 2010, The Department of Veterans Affairs partnered with Support All Veterans Equally, operating as The Warrior Summit Coalition 501 C 3 to help increase the capacity of the Welcome Home Celebration. In 2010, there were approximately 4,000 veteran and family attendees at the joint venture: Warrior Summit & Welcome Home Celebration;

which combined for the first time military Benefits, Employment, Education, and family friendly Entertainment. In 2011, we hosted our second Warrior Summit at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL for connecting over 10,000 veterans and family members to over 300 veteran support businesses, schools, non profit organizations, and government agencies; ALL AT NO COST TO THE VETERAN OR FAMILY MEMBER.

Since 2010, our 501 c 3 has raised over $2.2M in donations to help support the 20,000 veterans and family members and over 300 veteran support organizations. Due to the success of these events, we now have the ability to take this event on the road in other major cities where Department of Veterans Affairs hosts their Welcome Home Celebration. While planning the Chicago event for August 2014, we are also planning Warrior Summit / Welcome Home Celebration in St. Louis, MO; Our first event outside of Chicago. We are targeting Atlanta, GA; Pensacola, FL; and Washington DC in 2015.

We need your donations to get the Warrior Summit concept into other cities where veterans and military need the most support. Doing so will help us increase enrollment in programs and services that will assist the veterans and their families, improving their quality of life, strengthening our communities, and our nation as a whole.
