Watch Me Work
Organized by: Apple Head
It's no secret that affordable, decent childcare is hard to find. Being that I am a single mother of 2, although their father is very much involved..It is still very hard to make a living,to be able to give our kids a life they deserve when you have to pay "RENT" as I call it for them for the first 5 years of their life, 3 if your lucky to get them into school sooner. The average cost per child a year can be up to 19,000 and that justs rounding it up..according to babycenter.com. it also has to do with where you live... for instance I live in Boston,MA which is also one if the most wealthy cities in the U.S. Boston parents reported that their paying up to 2000 a month just for infant care. How is life suppose to be lived? My goal is to start a foundation that helps WORKING PARENTS making $12.00 to 15.00 en hour that have to eventually , have to play the system or even stop working in order to get help from the government. Meanwhile we have others abusing the system. Yes.. every state has a law for how long one person can be on asstiances but we all know there is always a loop whole somewhere.. I would like the foundation to somehow make it so that we can help parents pay atleast half of their childcare expenses for the first 5 years of their childrens lives... and eventually all 5 year... please help me start my foundation every bit counts would like to throw a big fundraising cookout by the end of the summer so please anything helps...
