BENEFITING: WATER FOR SOUTH SUDAN
One well transforms a village.
Hello! We are students from DuPont Manual High School trying to raise money for people in South Sudan. The money will help the non-profit organization Water For South Sudan build wells in South Sudanese villages.
They have built 282 wells so far. You can help build the next!
These wells have significant impacts on these villages. Without clean, accessible water, women and children would have to walk miles to the nearest water source. This water would be unhealthy and only obtainable in small quantities. With the addition of a well in the villages, the people would be significantly healthier. They wouldn't have to spend hours of their day walking to get water. Instead they can use this time to get an education--the key to ending poverty. The impact is long and lasting.
A donation of $500 ensures that 50 South Sudanese villagers will get access to clean water every day. Help us make a difference! Each dollar means so much to us. Thank you!
Visit www.waterforsouthsudan.org to learn more about the organization and the endless benefits a well can have on a community. They have videos documenting the progress of one village after a well was established. The results are amazing!
