I love that its raining more now in Austin but I kind of need more sunlight. Could I please have one day where its not partly cloudy. Just one See More

I want to take the salt out of seawater and make it potable while leaving almost a zero percent environmental impact. That is the main objective of this project. However, I will start by engineering a land based water purifier that can be used in countries where water is most polluted and the sun shines all day. If you research "portable desalination" you will see there are already many projects that are costly to build and require electricity and wasteful expensive filters. Many of these systems are good in times of crisis but not great and cost effective for the long term. I seek to build a great inexpensive water purifier that is easily maintained and when set up in a destitute village can also create a job though hiring a local to maintain the unit(s). The initial funding for this project will be used primarily for research and development. I have several experiments written in a journal ready to go. I have set a timetable for the summer with results as early as September 1st 2016. Thank you for your time.
