Waypoint Adventures Spartan Race
Organized by: Melissa Bradley
I’m writing to see if you’ll consider helping me transform people’s lives through the support of a unique and impactful organization called Waypoint Adventure. First let me tell you about Waypoint…
Waypoint Adventure is a non-profit organization whose mission is to challenge people with disabilities to discover their purpose, talents and strengths through the transforming power of adventure. Waypoint strives to ensure that all people, regardless of ability, have opportunities for adventure and through them realize their personal value, strengths and abilities.
Waypoint’s programs are not just about having fun outdoors; they are about positive individual and group development. They’re about building social skills and character, forming teams and transforming people’s views of themselves and their abilities.
These programs are amazing!! Take a minute to watch this video about a girl named Rachel. Also, make sure to check out Waypoint’s website to learn more.
So, here’s the way you and I can help them change lives. On Sunday Nov 13th, the Spartan Race is coming to Fenway Park. I, along with a team of 14 other people, am going to subject my body to the torture of running, climbing, sliding and diving through obstacles for 3+ miles!!
Each member of our team has committed to raising $500 to support Waypoint’s mission and transform people’s lives. Will you consider making a donation to my race?
It’s very simple and can be done in two different ways… you choose!
1. You can mail a check to the address below. Just make sure you list my name in the subject line so that they know to whom to attribute the donation. 2. You can also donate via credit card by clicking this link. Please make sure to indicate in the “comments” box at the bottom of the credit card form that the donation is in support of my participation.
I can’t thank you enough for your support of me and this incredible organization!
