It's Springtime in the Rockies and that means lots and lots of - you guessed it -- rolly, polly, adorable kittens! As much as we love these precious babes -- the numbers of kittens born each year in unsuitable, dangerous, outdoor (feral) conditions is simply staggering!
We do everything we can to save as many precious little lives as possible. Our efforts are endless in providing 24/7 care for orphaned kittens. Our wonderful foster families are continually full to the brim this time of the year with these little ones and as they grow up and get ready to be adopted, we also focus our attention on stopping the overpopulation of kittens in our community by making sure the adult cats are spayed & neutered.
We need your donations to help us Fix Feline Families! This crucial program focuses on (1) the Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) and spaying/neutering of feral adult cats (both male and female) and (2) taking pregnant Mamas off the streets and into safe, loving foster homes. And then (3) spaying the Mamas and the kittens and placing them with their furrever families.
A $50 donation will spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip one kitten. $75 will pay for a TNR trap to help ensure that we can keep the Mamas and kittens together through weaning. $500 will fix and feed an entire feline family. And $1000 will pay for an emergency C-section surgery to save a family from a delivery gone bad. (Wild Blue has had three emergency C-sections already.)
