The long road to recovery
August 25, 2016
On August 12th, 2016 Southern Louisiana was hit with the worst natural disaster since Katrina. Those that know my parents, Ronnie and Susan, know how generous they are and how much good they do for all those around them. They are now facing a very uncertain future with the severe flooding of our family home of 40 years. Mom, Dad, Becca and Anthony have little more than the clothes on their backs. It will be a long road to determine the state of the house, and if or when it can be repaired. As extent of the damages is discovered, I will modify this site and our goals. For now this fundraising effort is to help with the immediate costs of living after the disaster. Mom works an hourly job at the local Church and Dad has been on disability since 2005. Of course prayers are accepted as well as donations. Let’s show them how much we appreciate them!
