for those of you who don’t know me, I’m baran! I grew up in a small village in Palestine called Zawata , I studied bachelors of Computer information system and graduated in 2010, I am currently working as Information Technology projects coordinator at Foundation for Community Development in Palestine .
there is 25.8 % of Palestinian people live under a poverty line of US$2 per day. The numbers of the little chance people have tripled from 637,000 in September 2000 to nearly 1.5 million today , this increase of poverty rate returns for wars that we faced in our country.
I have the ambitious goal of reducing poverty in Palestine using technology, and reducing poverty in all of Arabic world in the future . Could you consider helping us give the Palestinian people a brighter hope?? My Solution : I am currently seek to establish an online social poverty network which will gather all Little chance people and donors at one platform, then matching among them through clearly and safety system . Amal Seek (Amal mean Hope in English) will be the first Arab platform which allows little chance people to invite others to take part in their story. we want to share our dreams, challenges ,and problems that we face online with crowd funding. People will always be interested to support others they care about. Amal Seek break down the physical barriers traditionally associated with receiving support from other people. by this platform little chance people will help themselves: - Amal Seek platform has three revenue streams(E-commerce ,Adv , 2.5 Fees on each donation) , and when the traffic on this platform will be huge , the profit will increase, then the Amal Seek platform will distribute the percentage of profit for supporting other campaigns .
The top 6 areas of usage on Amal Seek are:
- Entrepreneurship and startups
- Volunteerism & events
- Personal Emergencies
- Arts & sports
I would like to thank everyone will contribute in this Humanitarian initiative, Your financial support helps us continue in our mission and the assist those in our community.
