I really want to buy my parents a pair of matching wedding rings for their 20th wedding anniversary. My dad actually has one, but my mom doesn't. Why? Long story short, when I was very little, completely ignorant of monetary or emotional value of wedding rings, I threw her ring out the window. Yep. No kidding. Even though I have continued to make these kinds of mistakes as I grew up, my mom has never blamed me for these stupid choices and ignorant actions. I truly believe that this love helped me learn to be more accepting and caring as well. Over 20 years, my family grew and learned to love and be joyful together, even without material wealth. (Believe me, I never learned what it's like to have a lot.) Even as we were living in basements and moldy apartments, we were still happy because we were together. My parents are at the heart of that relationship. Thanks to them, no matter what situation I am in, I can confidently say that I am happy. With their anniversary just around the corner, I want to be able to repay them for this, in the one way I can think of. I've always prepared small, DIY events for holidays/anniversaries, with printable crafts and dollar store props, since I was that small kid who threw precious rings out of windows. Now, I want to upgrade that attempt, to celebrate 20 years of the love that overflowed into and filled my life. And that's where you come in. I want to get my parents matching wedding rings, but I can't afford it because I am broke as broke can be. Good quality rings are around $500 (ugh...) and I want to get two, so I need $1000. I know that's crazy money, but I think with the help of a lot of people, I can get there. Starting from you. No pressure :) I welcome any donations, whatever value!! Please share if you can. Thank you so much for your time and attention, and I hope you have an awesome rest of the day! God bless!!
