Weekend School for Gipsy kids

Nowadays 50 families of Gipsy are living in Kutaisi, Georgia. Their level of marginalization is extremally high. They face poverty, unemployment, isolation from other part of community. Mostly even primary education or medical services are not available for them.
In Georgia getting secondary education is obligatory, but children of this families do not go to school.
There are no NGO organization in Kutaisi, which works on gypsies’ problems. Local self-government institutions do not respond on their needs. Even the local televisions, radios and press are not interested in Gipsys problems.
Initiative group “Social solidarity” aims ti create weekend school for gypsies. In this school children will be able to study English language, Math, Georgian language. The will gain also proffesionally skills and get information about their rights.
