"Friends and family are people who make your problems their problems, just so you don't have to go through them alone."
As dear friends and family of Chris and Lisa Notaras, you may know that Chris was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma at the base of his tongue/tonsil. He had surgery to remove infected tumors and lymph nodes and is currently undergoing treatment with chemo and radiation.
This course of action has been very rough for Chris. Lisa (Neimeyer) recently had to leave her job in order to be there for the kids and to be on hand for Chris. Not only is their concern toward Chris’ return to health, their is also concern for how they will get by with limited funds, during this process.
Many of you have asked how you can help. As a community, we can help alleviate some of their pressures by donating to the fund. The gift of your donation is also a prayer of hope and health for Chris. It means Lisa can continue to be home thru this process and can surround her family with love and support. Their youngest daughter, Liliana, is 6. She does not understand why daddy can’t play with her right now.
If you are reading this on a page of one of your “Friends” on Facebook, yet you don’t know Lisa or Chris, please know that they are very dear friends of the “Friend” whose page it is on. Together we can help Chris and Lisa in this fight. One day we find ourselves on a path we had no intention of being on, yet there we are. Let us all pitch in and make the path they are on less rocky.
Your donation is a symbol of love. It is a symbol for the gratitude you have for where you are on your path. It is a symbol for hope in humanity, reaching out and giving help to those in need. It is a symbol of faith.
TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!
Thanks for your support,
Carina and Elenie
