What is your fundraising goal?
What was your Welcome Week experience like?
I remember being extremely nervous on my first day at NYU. After walking through the front door where two Welcome week leaders ,who I am still friends with today, welcomed me into the Bronfman Center, I felt right at home instantly. I met many other Freshmen and new students who were interested in Jewish life on campus and went to many events, like walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and Softball in Central Park. It was a great experience, which was why I became a welcome week leader myself the next three years after.
What does the Bronfman Center mean to you?
When I think of the Bronfman Center I can only think of one word: "Home". Whether it was for an event, Shabbat services, or even just to study or hang out, I felt like the Bronfman Center's doors were, still are, and always will be, open to me, my friends who I have met there, and everyone who wants to join the Bronfman Center family.
Why do you give?
I give because it gives the students who are coming into NYU and into the Bronfman Center the same opportunity that I had. Without the Bronfman Center and it's staff, I would not have been able to travel the world, explore my own Judaism and experience as much as I did when I was at NYU. There is so much that the Bronfman Center does and achieves, that I am proud to donate to them.
