We are a group of doctors, specialists, gynaecologists, midwives and medical staff. In our careers, we have helped thousands in disaster areas of Haiti, Nepal, Africa, Asia, around the globe. We have worked with NGOs and charitable organisations. Every one of us is fully certified. We specialize in pregnancy, birth, pre- and post natal care. For participants and documentation please visit Welcome Airlift on facebook.
If you are qualified, come work with us. Help us to save lives. Hundreds. Maybe thousands. Or help us financially.

You know what is going on in Syria, Kurdestan, Iraq. Turkish bombs. ISIS bombs. Asad’s bombs. No medicine. Who pays the bill? Mothers. Children. They did not start the war. They cannot stop the war.
They leave Syria for a better life in Europe. Between Syria and Germany, they have to cross 7 (seven) national borders. Syria to Turkey to Greece to Macedonia to Serbia to Hungary to Austria to Germany. In war or peace, women get pregnant. Married life. Often, rape. As you read these lines, ten thousands of refugees are stuck on Greek islands next to Turkey. One of the most dangerous sections of the journey is the five miles stretch across open water from Turkey to the Greek islands. People drown. Starve. Dehydrate. They take unbelievable risks to safe their lives.
We started a long time ago, each one of us in his specialty.
12-15% of the women are pregnant. Uncounted numbers of mothers and babies have died already on the beach, on concrete sidewalks, parking lots, train stations. In public. There is no medicine. No Help.
We expect to save hundreds of pregnant mothers' lives. In addition, we expect to save hundreds of newborn babies as well. Right now, many of them, lacking any medical support, die.
Kos to Germany: a horrible walk of some 2.000 miles. That is the same distance as Chicago to L.A. This European route goes through dirt, dust, filth, camps, barbed wire, mountains, rivers, rain, heat, snow.
We estimate more than 2.000 deaths of mothers and babies until the end of THIS year.
We plead you: Let’s show what America is all about.
We work for free or at cost. We make no profit. A major airline supports our activities.
But we urgently need more funds to cover the most urgent supplies. Here are some examples:
- Umbilical cord clamp, not reusable 0,50
- Suction, not reusable 0,70
- Isothermic blanket for newborns, to prevent life threatening hypothermia, not reusable 5,05
- 1 each application (pills) against bleeding to death 1,20
- 1 infusion against bleeding to death 20,00
- Tocolytics (anti-contraction medications or labor repressants) used to suppress premature labor, each application, 7,00
Babies come. Babies don’t wait for bureaucrats to issue visas or let you out of a hot spot.
They come and cry. They need love and life. Immediately. Not sometime later.
Phase I – $50.000
we need medical supplies and to cover expenses to transport pregnant mothers and babies to nearby hospitals and safe places. We assist some 5-10 birth a day.
As we are establishing a tracking system for pregnant mothers walking from Greece to Germany, we assist them when and where possible.
There will be more phases depending on the number of pregnant mothers and newborn babies.
Phase II - Welcome Airlift
We are in process to convince German authorities to allow us to airlift high risk pregnant women and newborns to Germany. We have a cooperative agreement with a leading airline in hand. Instead of walking 7 million steps over 3 to 8 weeks, with winter coming in October, we can fly pregnant mothers from Kos to Germany in 150 minutes. Nonstop. Door to door from our tents to German hospitals. It must be screamed: 150 minutes vs 7 million steps in several weeks.
YOUR support and donations will make the difference over life and death.
Some more notes:
1. If you are, or know of, an experienced person qualified to join us, please have them contact us asap at email@example.com Also, if American businesses are able to join and/or support and/or supply us, please contact us.
2. If you know of a pregnant person or a newborn baby on the Greek island or on the way between Greece and western Europe, please tell them to contact us asap. We cannot help them if we don't know where they are on their 2.000 miles walk.
Hopefully, we will soon be allowed to transport them to a safe hospital by our Welcome Airlift.
They may also inquire about us at any German Consulate or Embassy.
They do NOT need to be registered in order to receive our help. But we only help pregnant mothers and babies.
