Well Pump for Project Chacocente
Organized by: Emilie Fauchet
Project Chacocente operates in Masaya, Nicaragua. It has provided families from the Managua dump with the opportunity for a new beginning. The families have worked hard to earn the deeds to their new homes and send their children to Chacocente Christian School.
Seven years ago, a well was installed at Chacocente to provide all the family homes and the school with water for their daily needs. Now, with an original life expectancy of only 5 years, the pumps for the well are on their last legs. They have gone through several repairs by the staff and need to be replaced.
The families, students and teachers of Project Chacocente need water the same as you and me: for cooking, cleaning, bathing, drinking and more. Replacing and maintaining the well pumps is necessary to keep all of this going. Please donate any amount you can towards our goal of $3,000. More than 200 people are depending on your help!
