BENEFITING: ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: Nov 15, 2014
The Girls on the Run team of Pope John XXIII School is dedicating their 5k run to 2 year old Charlotte Perkins who has recently been diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Charlotte is the daughter of PJ23 parents, Brian and Christine (former PJ23 teacher) and sister to Jack (kindergarten), James (twin), and William (1).
When the girls heard about Charlotte, they decided they wanted to do something to help raise awareness for Juvenile Arthritis (did you know that 300,000 children have JIA?!). On November 15, these 16 girls will run 3.1 miles in honor of Charlotte, and all those who are affected with Juvenile Arthritis.
Please consider supporting their efforts to raise awareness for Juvenile Arthritis. All donations go directly to the Arthritis Foundation.
