Father and son team, Doah Lynd and Wes Lynd are running their first full marathon together. We want this run to mean something more so we are running to raise more awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that ravages the body. We were a witness to this happening with one of the most alive and vibrant men we knew, Sean Fraser. ALS also took the life of my rather spirited Aunt Linda! We are running to raise money for the ALS ASSOCIATION - ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER, manly because this is the county where Sean lived when we lost him. We hope this money will serve a twofold purpose: (1) to help those currently suffering with ALS; and, (2) to help in the ultimate dream to find a cure. To checkout the website for our charity, feel free to visit their site at http://weboc.alsa.org/
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS FOR DONATING. We are honored to run for the memory of both Sean and Linda as well as the countless of other loved-ones that were lost to ALS.
