Auggie Grant Exactly one minute after his sister on April 13, 2006, August “Auggie” Frederic Grant was born. A fearless boy who loved telling people what he knew, Auggie’s favorite animals was the cheetah because it could run 70 mph, and was as fierce as a honey badger and a crocodile put together.
December 5, 2011, Acute Myeloid Leukemia took Auggie from this world. He fought valiantly, backed by the best doctors using the latest medicines and the most advanced machines at a first-class facility, supported by a worldwide phalanx of prayer warriors. But in the face of overwhelming odds, it wasn’t enough.
