Earthquake and Tsunami struck Japan on 3-11-2011.
We all shocked first, and now we want to try to do something with our kids.
We visited Tohoku area in the summer of 2002 for our vacation. Our experience in Tohoku area was very special, people are extremely nice and easygoing, long history to live in every quaint villages. We love countryside/mountains and SNOW. I spent a lot of time to ski in Japanese mountains. Some of my favorite mountains and snow are in Iwate, I was planning to take my kids to hike or ski soon. It was heartbreaking to see the beautiful countryside we visited was drowning in the ocean. It didn’t seem fair to me. Our normal life became to seem fake… I really hope to see the countryside with great nature in Tohoku again.
We can help a little to make Tohoku people to have some power to build quaint villages again.
