Two years ago Logan, Jessa, and I made a very bold (ok crazy) move and packed up a 26 foot moving truck and relocated from the Pacific Northwest to the Dallas area. We were looking for change and adventure. We had no idea trying our "do over" would be. Texas life has not been kind to us. Besides the lack of good coffee, we have struggled almost continuously In fact, while attempting to acclimate to Texas life, I'm sure I have heard universal laughter and the reminder to "be careful what you wish for". About a year ago, Hunter (my 21 year old) moved in with me after being medically discharged from the Navy. The extra mouth to feed, though not unwelcome, has been a strain on me financially. We are at a crossroads. This month, we received notice that our landlords are leaving Texas for California and selling my home. We have until September 12th to find a new residence. We are homesick! We miss our friends, our families, the weather, the coffee, the real seafood, the music (ok ok I threw those last ones in for the chuckle) I think I have found a job! So, really the choice is simple. We want to come home. It looks like I have enough money to buy Logan and Jessa airfare home, so they can start school. Hunter and I will rent a moving truck to bring our things and . But I need to raise about 2000 for a place to rent when we get there. It would be amazing if we had additional funds to buy a cheap car too. Please please please, throw us a life line, if you can. We miss you all so much.
