What does a 1988 International school bus have to do with a local solution to hunger?
We're taking the hunger fight on the road: Mobile Farmer's Markets are popping all over the country and it's easy to see why. They have the power to bring healthy food to communities that need it most.
We've got the bus, but we need your help to get rolling! This summer, we're giving an old bus a new life.
This mobile market will bring fresh local food to our neighbors all over Natrona County - breaking down the barriers to access to local food for everyone. We will be accepting SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks with the Mobile Market, as well as cash and credit cards.
Our goal is $10,000 which will help spruce up the outside, retrofit the inside, service the engine, license the bus, and help pay to operate the Mobile Market during the first year.
YOU can help! Give what you can, it all adds up! Help us reach our goal and make this dream come true!
