Help me raise money to evaluate Water for South Sudan wells.
This January, I will travel to South Sudan with a WFSS team to evaluate the impact of water wells on villages in South Sudan and to talk to villagers affected by a water well.
Water for South Sudan is Celebrating its ten year anniversary. Over 215 wells have been drilled and 500,000 people now have access to fresh clean water.
We have seen again and again, that adding fresh clean water to a South Sudanese village literally grows the seeds of change. Schools and clinics are built, markets pop up, and women and children no longer have to walk 6 hours a day for water. This evaluation will help us to show just how much change really happens when a well is drilled.
Water for South Sudan has been so successful because it achieves the impossible. We drill in some of the most remote areas in the world. The average temperature is 125 degrees, there are no roads in many places, and the country is still rebuilding from 50 years of war, yet each year we are able to drill over 30 new wells. This is amazing.
Water for South Sudan runs its drilling operations by support from the community. Your support now will help Water for South Sudan to become a stronger organization in the future. Your donation goes directly to Water for South Sudan and is tax deductible.
