Global Explorers Office via Crowdrise
May 03, 2011
What do blindness, American soldiers, high school students and Mt. Elbert have in common? We will find out on May 20th.
Global Explorers staff and friends will join Erik Weihenmayer, the legendary blind climber who summited Mt. Everest along with wounded war veterans on a one-day climb up Colorado's highest peak: Mt. Elbert. Proceeds support Global Explorers, a nonprofit youth organization that combines students with and without disabilities on the adventure of a lifetime and our participation in the No Barriers Summit, a festival highlighting modern day pioneers who use adaptive technologies to adventure through life.
Interested in joining the climb? Contact David Shurna at firstname.lastname@example.org or 970-484-3633.
