At C-SNIP, we house up to 70 dogs and cats in our building on each surgical day. We perform 12,000 spay and neuter surgeries annually. The core of our mission is to prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats through spay and neuter surgery. However, our number one day to day priority is the health and well-being of the animals entrusted to our care.
That means that we have a plan, even when it's 2 degrees outside and even when one of our two furnaces breaks. We transfer emergency heaters from all over the building to where the animals are, keeping our canine and feline patients warm and comfortable today.
Our office staff, on the other hand, are in coats and hats, seeing their breath in the air as they schedule appointments.
Our broken, large, commercial furnace doesn't simply need repair, it has taken that final trip to the great furnace beyond.
On Monday, January 12th, 70 animals will arrive for surgery.
We need help.
