WHAT IS WHITE CANE WALK?
White Cane Walk is Cleveland Sight Center's annual event to raise critical dollars to support our mission and raise awareness of our agency and the services we provide. Join us as we walk 1 mile in beautiful University Circle. White Cane Walk is presented by the Association of Indian Physicians of Northern Ohio.
WHY SHOULD YOU WALK?
In it's 13th year, White Cane Walk has raised over $665,000 in support of CSC. These funds are vital to keep many programs and services available to clients, many of which are not covered by medical insurance, including white canes.
DID YOU KNOW?
-The average cost of a white cane is $30.
-$200 provides two hours of Braille instruction to a student who is blind, in his or her own school.
