White Middle Class American Scholarship Fund
Organized by: Melissa Jeffrey
Working full time at a good job, raising two great boys, picking up extra odd jobs on the side, and it still barely covers bills. Now just 4 courses left for my degree and I’m out of loan money. I apply for scholarship after scholarship. Apparently I’m just not QUITE poor enough, ethnic enough, or abused enough. I make too much money for a free ride, but if I slack off, I lose everything. If I work another job, there won’t be time for school or to be there for my children (which is why so many kids are in trouble today). Society has made it so hard for the middle class White American to make it. This is not about discrimination, in fact, it is about equal support for what is now the minority race in the U.S.A.
