Philosophy: A 'streets-to-feet" program to focus on sustainable economic growth for the Whitewater community and its business partners while creating and facilitating vocational training, job opportunities, housing and community benefits to improve the lives of or residents.
Project Goals: Provide all-encompassing programs of housing, education, social services, job training and employment opportunities to Veterans, Native Americans, Disadvantage Families, Battered Women and Others.
This is to be a Live, Learn, Work facility to promote opportunity and advancement
• Live: To provide low-to-no cost housing for those in need.
• Learn: To provide vocational training in such construction trades as electrician, carpentry, plumbing & property maintenance/management. Also to provide culinary school training, business and computer skills. We will also provide social and medical services, and Christ-Centered training and Worship services.
• Work: Residents will also have on-site employment opportunities in areas such as site management, manufacturing, internet development, restaurant and other viable opportunities.
Result: To end the cycle of homelessness and struggle for our residents enabling them to live productive lives when they leave our program.
