Whitney Needs You After Depression from Missionary Work
Organized by: Dorthie Yurovich-Carlson
As many of you know, my daughter, Whitney Carlson has suffered a several year depression after returning from missionary work in the Far East for Campus Crusaders For Christ. She is getting better, but she and our family are trying to pay for her medical costs (COBRA insurance over $600 per month with a 205 deductable) and keep her apartment (over $500 per month) while she is hospitalized and unable to work (which could be some time. She had been working 3 jobs and taking care of 'the love of her life, her dog, Bao Bao. He too needs love, care, food and shelter she can be reunited with him. The medical costs and trips to visit her in the hospital add up so quickly. Whitney is a survivor and has ALWAYS been involved in Mission work and volunteer work in and around our home town and all over the Great United States and Abroad. She has given thousands of hours raising money for causes near and dear to her heart and has given many hours finding ways to help others. She also spoke to me about wanting to take a homeless person out for dinner once a week and listen to their stories about how they became homeless and how she could help them. Whitney's father and I are both on very limited income as I am disabled and he is retired. Please help Whitney become the strong woman she has always been until she she became ill. Suicide is not an option. If you cannot give financially, please send out prayers. Bless you all!
