Wife needs help with her medical bills
Organized by: Cedric Coleman
My wife, Samantha is a mother of 2 and a former Nurse, who has Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, kidney failure, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Due to these conditions, she has had to medically retire from nursing at only 33 years old.
Many days, she finds it hard to move from the pain. On the days we go out, she can only walk a little bit and then she starts getting dizzy and nauseous , and has to find a place to sit down. We used to be a very active couple, would go walk around malls and zoos, now we can't do that anymore. This makes her depression worse, because she feels she is trapped in the home.
We live in a small town in Arizona, and her specialists (she has 4), live in Phoenix which is 50+ miles away. Up until recently, she had ACCHCS (AZ medicaid) to cover the cost of transporting her to the specialist, because our car needs work and cannot travel the distance. The state legislature changed the requirements for ACCHCS, so that now, even though she is disabled, she no longer qualifies, so now we can't get her to her doctors, including her pain doctor. We need to either: get our cat fixed, or buy a good used car that will get us back and forth to her doctor's visits. What ever you can give will help.
