The Race is On!
April 20, 2017
We are on a journey to educate as many people about the environment as we possibly can in order to build an appreciation for the natural world around us. Our work includes environmental education, advocacy, citizen science and research. We promote green living on a variety of levels including diet, renewable energy and upcycling.
We offer a wide variety of Environmental Education programs that can be performed in schools, eldercare facilities, company picnics or wherever you wish. Our educational programs span a variety of nature topics, from survival skills to birds of prey to nature games. In addition, Wild Spirit works closely with Scouts. We perform Boy Scout merit badge workshops on a monthly basis along with Eagle Scout, Girl Scout, and Cub Scout programming.
We also conduct public programs throughout the year on topics from wilderness survival techniques to wildlife rehabilitation classes. Our highly informed naturalists lead these events at venues across the region.
Wild Spirit Education is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. As such we depend upon donations from the general public to help us continue to serve the Western New York region.
