Wild Baby Rescue Center is an all volunteer non-profit Wildlife Center that cares for hundreds of injured and orphaned indigenous New Jersey wild animals with the goal of returning them to their wild lives as fully functioning wild animals.
Last year after hurricane Irene, Wild Baby Rescue Center admitted 142 tiny 2-3 week old cold, frightened and injured baby squirrels in 3 days. We have never had that many babies admitted at one time. All had to be hand fed every 4 hours. All were eventaully released to the wild.
Wild Baby Rescue Center offers internships for college students earning them valuble experience and college credits.
In 2012 we cared for 640+ animals from fawn to fox and raccoon, opossum, coyote, skunk, and cottontail rabbits.
Please help us care for these tiny, precious creatures. Visit us at wildbabyrescue.org.
