Wilderness Torah is raising $60,000 from individuals by the end of the year! This Crowdrise campaign by passionate staff members, Board members and community members is seeking to raise $10,000 of that.
Why? Because we love Wilderness Torah and the impact it's had on our lives and so many others.
Wilderness Torah creates inclusive Jewish experiences, outdoor youth education, and programs for Jewish institutions -- that reconnect Jewish experiences to the outdoors.
Since 2007, Wilderness Torah has grown exponentially, now serving 2,000 people a year. Named one of the nation's most innovative Jewish nonprofits four years in a row by Slingshot Fund (2011-15), Wilderness Torah is creating meaningful Jewish experiences for people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of Jewish observance.
Demand is skyrocketing. Wilderness Torah served 50% more people in 2014 over 2013. Every program is selling out; institutions across the Bay Area and beyond ask for programming; and participants hail from 28 states and 7 countries.
But in order to keep program fees affordable, especially for young people and lower-income families and seniors, Wilderness Torah needs donations. In fact, fundraising accounts for 60% of its budget each year.
Wilderness Torah needs to raise $60,000 by the end of year from individuals who want to see this work continue to thrive.
Please give a donation to support this work today!
