BENEFITING: ZIMBABWE CONSERVATION RESEARCH UNIT
The Wildlife Orphanage provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned and injured animals, as well as contributing to the conservation of rare and endangered species through rehabilitation, research, captive breeding programmes and community education. The team are also involved with long term studies in the Matopos National Park, including leopard ecology and population movements of radio-collared leopard, brown hyena and cheetah.
The money you are donating will go 100% towards the costs it takes for one person to go to Africa and volunteer at Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage & Research Project for one month. You will be helping to fund the return flights, return transfers from Johannesburg Airport to your project, all accommodation, meals, the 24 hour support of our South African ground manager and, of course, the contributions to the projects, without which they could not operate
