BENEFITING: National Wildlife Humane Society
Top Of The Rock Wildlife Sanctuary was founded 20 years ago, on a remote mountain top in north central Arkansas wilderness. It was later the "cause base" for National Wildlife Humane Society (NWHS).
NWHS moved the headquarters from Nashville, TN to the same location as the sanctuary a few years ago. NWHS has grown to include wildlife conservation field allies, working hard in various parts of the world's wilderness, but the sanctuary remains in operation.
Top Of The Rock is a No Buy, No Sell, No Breed, No Exhibit sanctuary, with no commercial exploitation of the animals whatsoever. There is no gate for the public, so no exhibition revenues.
The wildlife at the sanctuary are not exposed to crowds or public traffic, nor exposed to any commercial pressures. They fall asleep every night to the sounds of deep forest wilderness in calm natural surroundings. Because there are No commercial ventures, Top Of The Rock depends totally on charitable donations.
New Tigers Gizmo and Obi arrived at Top Of The Rock Wildlife Sanctuary on September 13, 2011. They came from a sanctuary in San Antonio, TX that has closed. We have welcomed them both, into our sanctuary and into our hearts.
We added a short video here, of excerpts of Obi enjoying her first time in the big playground. Obi loves the sea of grass, laying in the water (with one paw out :) meeting dogs and playing while her enclosure is being cleaned.
Top Of The Rock is a No Buy, No Sell, No Breed, No Exhibit wildlife sanctuary. If you would like to assist the NWHS - Top Of The Rock Sanctuary please consider a donation.
