BENEFITING: Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity
The Martin family had to move out of their basement apartment because of the mold - which ruined their clothing, wrecked their furniture, and worst of all, made their children sick. The Martins are accepted in to the Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity program and broke ground on their new home in Centuria, Wisconsin, July 13, 2014.. A hardy group of caring volunteers traveled North from Hudson, WI, the following week to raise the walls and put on the roof in one week. But the Martin family is living in a shelter now, hoping that their new home will be finished before they have to leave. Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity needs to raise $72,000 to get the Martin family's new home built. We all want to raise that money and build the house before the Martins are homeless again.
