We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run? positive youth development program which combines an interactive curriculum and running to inspire self-respect and healthy lifestyles in pre-teen girls. Our core curriculum addresses many aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. Lessons provide girls with the tools to make positive decisions and to avoid risky adolescent behaviors. We partner with local schools to reach 3rd through 5th grade girls with an interactive 10-?-week program that develops qualities within them to become strong, content, healthy, confident young women. Our program provides fun after-?-school activities that help girls learn life lessons through active experiences that help pave the way for discussing important issues that seek to help girls make good decisions and stay strong through their teen years.
