BENEFITING: PIXIE PROJECT
EVENT: 2013 Furbowl Fundraiser
EVENT DATE: Apr 13, 2013
Welcome to WILSON'S WANDERERS...otherwise known as Lee and Jen Barth. We are participating in the 2013 Furbowl to benefit The Pixie Project...and hope you will consider supporting us!
Rescue animals have always been some of the most important members of our family. Many of you knew our beloved Julius, who Lee rescued in Bend, OR more than a decade ago, and Eunice, our one-eyed wonder cat who we rescued in Los Angeles before we were married.
Shortly after moving to Portland in 2009, we adopted Wilson from The Pixie Project, a non-profit animal adoption and rescue center here in Portland.
Since then, he has given us countless reasons to smile: his warm welcomes, lovable loyalty, nonstop nudging, and his gentle genius-ness (well, maybe genius is stretching it a bit). Not to mention the excitement he brings whenever he decides to go sprinting across the neigborhood (or in some cases, half of Portland) in search of his next adventure. Many of you have experienced this adventure, too...and are still recovering.
We hope to support the rescue and adoption of more incredible dogs like Wilson, and hope you will consider sponsoring our team as we get ready for the big night on April 13!
