Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you know, I have been volunteering for the Bolsa Chica Conservancy since 1998 and have been active in many of its programs as well as serving on the board of directors. The Conservancy is a vital piece in coastal preservation and works to restore the Bolsa Chica Wetlands through science-based education and restoration programs. An important initiative we’d like to expand is the Windows to the Wetlands Program. This traveling STEM-based education program reaches students in underserved communities and teaches about wetlands, watersheds and conservation. I wish I had had that when I was growing up.
Often schools find it difficult to allow time and resources to get to the wetlands, so we are bringing the wetlands to them! The Windows to the Wetlands program is a part of our Community Action Restoration and Education (CARE) program which engages youth and adults to increase their knowledge and actively participate in the care of our coast and wetlands.
If this sounds like something you would like to support, please consider taking a moment to donate on my fundraising page: https://www.crowdrise.com/windowstoourwetlands/fundraiser/clairegrozinger
Our goal is to raise $20,000 by the end of the year which will enable 1,000 students to experience what we see here at Bolsa Chica. A $20 donation sponsors one student, $100 sponsors 5, etc. My personal goal is to raise $1000 to benefit 50 students. I hope you will consider supporting me in meeting this goal. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

All the best for a happy holiday season.
