BENEFITING: MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
ORGANIZER: MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
EVENT DATE: Sep 18, 2016
Nick Sorensen is currently a student at Fresno City College pursuing a degree in Business as well as obtaining his real estate liscense. This is his first time as a Shoe Guy, and he is excited to give back through working with Make-A-Wish. One of Nick’s friends, Marcus Cato, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia, so he decided this volunteer opportunity was a great way to support other children going through the same thing.
Nick is single and has one sister. He loves working out and spending time with his friends - one of his favorite hobbies is going to Pebble Beach with his buddies to play golf and relax. He is passionate about helping others, and is ready to serve as a Shoe Guy in September.
Help Nick in his mission of supporting children’s wishes!
Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. The Central California chapter was founded in 1986, Make-A-Wish Central California chapter has granted over 2,000 wishes and serves eight counties: Fresno, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, Kern, Kings, Tulare and Inyo. We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
